-The Florida Marlins promotions Dept. will be giving away free spins for prizes on their Florida Marlins prize wheel.

-Amarican Amateur Jai-alai will be on site to answer questions about the facility and schedule.

Sunday March 2nd
-Long time Miami great and current Fort Pierce star #22 Benny Bueno will take Jai alai fans on Dania Jai alai’s court from 11:15 A.M. until 11:45 A.M. for pictures and to see what it looks like from that side of the fence.

-At 12:00 P.M. the greatest American to ever play the game of Jai alai, Joey Cornblit #37 will be signing autographs and fans can have a picture taken with Joey. Autographs will be $5.00 each. Cesta, Helmet, Picture, etc. and proceeds will go to Benny’s foundation, teaching kid’s the sport of Jai alai in an effort to introduce the sport to the next generation of fans.

-Also, anyone who buys $20.00 of sports memorabilia from our sports card and memorabilia show will be entered in a chance to win a $500.00 show shopping spree. After game 7 we will draw the name of the winner and after game 8, the winner will be brought on the court given 2 practice throws from anywhere on the court then it’s off to the 11 line for 1 throw. Hit the front wall and you’re a winner.

NJAA ( National Jai-alai Association) in conjunction with the city of St. Petersburg will be holding a Grand Opening and Court Dedication Ceremony for the new St. Petersburgh jai-alai court on Saturday, April 19 at 10am. The event is free and open to the public. The court is nearing completion with only a few more cosmetic details left to be done.
